Private detective Hazama Itsuru investigates a cyborg parts theft, leading him to Sachiko Yokogawa — the original 8 Man's love interest. After Hazama is fatally wounded by an unknown cyborg, a new 8 Man emerges to fight criminals more aggressively amid urban chaos caused by cyber-junkies.
